               Dynamic AMG engine mounts The dynamic AMG engine mounts solve the conflict of aims between an engine mounting which is as soft as possible for high comfort and one which is hard for superior driving dynamics. A driving situation detection function continually sets the optimum damping and stiffness values. As a result the engine is always connected to the body with a hardness which is appropriate to the situation.[d]

              AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed sport automatic transmission If you want to enjoy the best possible acceleration, you can activate the RACE START function: simply place one foot on the brake in "Sport", "Sport+" or "RACE" mode and fully depress the accelerator. At the same time, you can use the steering wheel gearshift paddles to control the start-off engine speed between 2000 and 4000 rpm, according to the road surface and weather conditions.[d]
