Exterior

The perfect all-round performance requires a perfect and unmistakable exterior. Distinctive features here include the new oval twin-tailpipe trim elements. One hallmark AMG feature is the striking spoiler lip, which reduces aerodynamic lift on the rear axle – and makes the vehicle feel like it is hugging the road. Peerless performance is just as important. Each driving mode gives the AMG exhaust system a unique sound – ranging from highly emotive to more hushed and gentlemanly. Whichever one you choose, the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension keeps you at the right height. At high speeds, the vehicle is lowered to reduce wind resistance and further increase stability.

Interior

The sportiest vehicle shape counts for nothing if you cannot feel the vehicle and its performance in the interior. The Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ therefore has an AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather. Not to mention illuminated ventilation nozzles, plus seats with AMG-specific seat upholstery layout and “AMG” badge. The selectable trim elements in carbon fiber and glass fiber further boost both sportiness and smartness.

Powertrain

Continuous development has been one of the main driving forces behind Mercedes-AMG for more than 50 years. We don’t rest on our laurels. We always want to go one step further. One symbol of this is our new engine in the Mercedes-AMG 53 series. A 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder turbo engine with an output of 320 kW (435 hp). Additional performance comes courtesy of 48-volt electrification and the integrated starter-alternator with an output of up to 16 kW. In addition to this, an electric auxiliary compressor ensures outstanding engine response across the entire rpm range. Why have all this? For low consumption, dynamic acceleration and exceptionally agile response.
